Midnight Hawks

This year, the four blue-and-white BAE Systems Hawk Mk51 advanced jet trainers of the Midnight Hawks have been a familiar sight in events commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Finnish Defence Forces and the Finnish Air Force. Next weekend, the aerobatic team will finish its display season at the Radom International Air Show. More than 50 000 visitors are expected to attend the air show celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Polish Air Force.

The Midnight Hawks pilots are flight combat instructors of Finnish Air Force Academy, Fighter Squadron 41, based at Tikkakoski Air Base. The aerobatic team will perform a flying display both on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th August.
