Finland deploys F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets to the Steadfast Noon 25 exercise at Skrydstrup Air Base in Denmark from 13 to 24 October 2025.

Steadfast Noon is NATO’s annual exercise aimed at making sure that the Alliance's nuclear deterrent remains credible, safe, and effective.

The aim of Finland's participation is to increase understanding and experience of NATO’s nuclear operations.

The Finnish Air Force's F/A-18 Hornet fighter jets operate from Skrydstrup Air Base in Denmark. In total, the Steadfast Noon 25 exercise involves around 70 aircraft from 14 Allied nations. The aircraft do not carry live nuclear weapons.
