Karelia Air Command will host a step out visit of two Royal Danish Air Force F-16 fighters at Rissala Air Base on 3‒4 August 2022.
The visit will be part of the bilateral cooperation between the Finnish and Danish air forces.
‒ Nordic defence cooperation enables flexible implementation of step out visits. During the event, our F/A-18s will fly training missions together with the Danish F-16s, says Lieutenant Colonel Tomi Böhm, Chief of Staff, Karelia Air Command.
The Danish F-16s will participate in the Finnish Air Force’s daily flight training activity together with Karelia Air Command’s F/A-18 Hornets. The air activity will take place in the training areas located in the vicinity of Rissala Air Base on 3‒4 August 2022.
