Midnight Hawks, the official aerobatic team of the Finnish Air Force participates in Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at RAF Fairford, UK from 14th to 16th July.
The team flying four BAE Systems Hawk Mk 51 advanced jet trainers will perform a flying display on Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th July.
The Midnight Hawks pilots are flight combat instructors of Finnish Air Force Academy Fighter Squadron 41 based at Tikkakoski Air Base, Central Finland. The Hawk aircraft of the team are wearing a special blue-and-white livery in the celebration of Finland’s 100 years of independence. Air show season 2017 also marks the twentieth anniversary of Finnish Air Force display team operations under the name Midnight Hawks.
